Single-Day National & Preliminaries

Single-Day Competitions

All contestants competing in a single day competition  will be judged comparatively for all categories. Each judge will be tasked to rank the contestants from 1 to 12. A point value will then be assigned to the ranking.

x5 Judges (High and Low scores of the 7 judges will be dropped)

Total Possible Points Per Contestant:

240 points

NOTE: In the event a single day competition has more than twelve (12) contestants, the ranking system will be adjusted upwards to accommodate for the additional contestants. For example, if there are thirteen (13) contestants, the ranking would be Personal Interview/Fashion 1- 13, and Talent 2 -26.

The score sheets, judges comment sheets, and talent music will be available to contestants following the crowning of the winner of the pageant. Additionally, the master score sheet will be posted online as soon as possible following the crowning of the winner of the pageant. 

Multi-Day National & Preliminaries

Preliminary Nights (National & Multi-Day Preliminaries)

Scoring for preliminary night’s competition for all National pageants and Multi-Day preliminaries will be done on a cumulative scoring system. Each judge will give each contestant a score based on their performance in the competition categories without regard to the other contestants. With this scoring system, more than one contestant may be given the same score.

The Twelve Contestants with the highest scores will become finalists. This scoring system will select finalists without regards to groups. It is possible that a group would have more than two finalists or even have no finalists.

Final Night (National & Multi-Day Preliminaries)

The twelve (12) contestants with the highest cumulative scores from a national/multi-day preliminary competition will be judged comparatively for the Talent and Fashion categories on final night. Each judge will be tasked to rank the contestants from 1 to 12. A point value will then be assigned to the ranking. Personal Interview scores will carry over from preliminary competition and will not be ranked.

NOTE: USofA Pageants, LLC reserves the right to change the top twelve (12) to another number at its discretion. This decision may only be made by the National Office. For example, if there are fourteen (14) contestants, there may be a top fourteen (14) or a top seven (7). The ranking system will be adjusted upwards to accommodate for the additional contestants. For example, if there are fourteen (14) contestants, the ranking would be Fashion 1- 14, and Talent 2 -28. Personal Interview would still carry over from preliminary competition and would not be ranked.

The preliminary score sheets, final night score sheets, judges comment sheets, and talent music will be available to contestants following the crowning of the winner of the pageant. Additionally, the master preliminary and master final score sheet will be posted online as soon as possible following the crowning of the winner of the pageant.
